What is Giving Tuesday?

We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. Each year, on the Tuesday immediately following Thanksgiving, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and athletes around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

It’s a simple idea. Join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity during our weeklong campaign.

What is Boston Celtics United? 

Celtics United is a multi-focus commitment to addressing racial injustice and social inequities in the Greater Boston area, with an emphasis on combating issues that have impacted the Black community as a result of the nation’s long-term history of systemic racism. The Initiative is rooted in six pillars:

• Breaking Down Barriers & Building Bridges Between Communities
• Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement
• Economic Opportunity & Empowerment
• Equity in Education
• Equity in Health
• Voting & Civic Engagement
