What is Giving Tuesday?

We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. Each year, on the Tuesday immediately following Thanksgiving, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and athletes around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

It’s a simple idea. Join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity during our weeklong campaign.

Where are we shining a light?

Today we shine a light on the Equity In Healthcare pillar. After learning about the root causes and hearing the statistics, it became clear we needed to have an impact. The mission of this group is to identify and combat racial and social barriers related to healthcare that exist within communities of color. 

Top Pillar Priorities

• Identify root causes of key health problems within communities of color and develop initiatives to address these issues.
• Provide support in the area of mental health, preventative care, and fitness and nutrition. 
• Support and amplify local healthcare organizations whose focus is addressing racial injustices and social inequities.
